I'm glad we don't get these in Chicago lol. Back in the South this would be tornado season right now and if you don't have a basement to go into then your reaction to those tornado sirens is

tornado sirens to this day are the most eery sounds to me.
Maybe Chicago doesn't get them but the rest of Illinois does.

Average number of tornadoes in Illinois is 64 per year, but there were none in 1919 and 1933, and as many as 124 tornadoes in 2006. There are no real time trends in the number of tornadoes.

You can tell who's never been in a tornado before talking about getting on the road. That's the dumbest thing you could do in severe weather. Smarten up Nas. They should have both been hugging the inside of the bathtub if they had no basement. You can't outrun or predict a tornadoes path to safely outrun it.
You ain’t been in no tornado. There’s always a tornado warning when weather conditions are ideal for a tornado which gives you time to prepare. Not saying you should drive out of town but at least have a safe location ie: basement.

The surrounding suburbs do but the position of the lake + city helps make it rare for deep city tornadoes but they have happened

Why Jupiter's Great Red Spot Has Lasted So Long. ... The Great Red Spot is the most noticeable feature on Jupiter's surface — a storm about 12,400 miles (20,000 kilometers) long and 7,500 miles (12,000 km) wide, about two to three times larger than Earth. Winds at its oval edges can reach up to 425 mph (680 km/h)
jupiter anyone?

My brain can’t even process that

This would be so much more dangerous than staying in the house.

There's no time for something like this and there are drills. The drill is to run to the basement as fast as possible, get in a room with no windows, and bunker down. Tornados are unpredictable. There's tornado warnings but you never know when they will appear, when they will touch down to the ground and what direction they will take. They can change directions on the drop of a dime and can disappear as quickly as they appear. Getting in a car during a storm / tornado warning is the worst possible thing you can do.
n*ggas dont understand, sh*t is pitch black and can affect miles, loud as fu*k, and moves very fast and can appear and disappear any where there is climatic buildup and if your in your car it can drop right on top of you ur finished, not to mention its force can send rcoks, wood, metal anything that aint bolted down fling into your windshiled, youll be lucky to survive.

You only have minutes to react most of the time. Tornadoes aren’t hurricanes.

He should have been with his wife taking cover though
Minutes to react but he out there setting up video recording equipment?

Only other thing more terrifying than a giant tornado like that is a sea storm/tsunami.

Remember being in Memphis, in 07 I wanna say, waking up to see one come down about a mile away. I instantly grabbed the dog and jumped in the car. Did over 100 tryna get to the other side of town. Mom thought I was crazy. Came back to the crib the next day and sh*t was fukked up. My neighbors house was done for.

U acting like they had days to prepare...its not a hurricane.

These things pop up in minutes...even if there was warnings before hand where u gonna go? Tornado just pop up anywhere. Safest thing to do is bunker down
