Good, let all those broke red states suffer for voting against their interests. Maybe when it hits them hard then they'll realize they're in the wrong team.
for the majority, but not all, they refuse to see it that way

as long as poor blacks and latinos are suffering then it's all good for them. they're "winning" by making sure all the rich people of their complexion get richer.

Whether you guys want to admit it, you all know they have plenty of ppl that abuse this system. They are the reason for the stricter laws.

How much did fraud grow? It jumped to $592.7 million in 2016, up a staggering 61% from $367.1 million in 2012, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The monetary figures are "Fraud Dollars Determined By Investigations." In other words, these figures are based on identified incidents. In 2016, the number of fraud investigations totaled 963,965, up more than 30% from 2012.

Laws are clearly too lenient if there's this much fraud. No one here blamed the extemely lenient laws that allowed a 61% increase (these are only the identified) in fraud which has led to the stricter laws. I ere on the side of feeding more ppl than not enough but it gets to a point where action needs to be taken are the whole program will implode.

2 things here: Those charts dont count the fraud, obviously.

Those Amazon jobs are most definitely the customer service ppl who work 20 hours a week. Believe me, I work with a guy whose wife does this. They dont work enough hours to make anything.

He gonna fu*k up his own people in the south, lol. In certain states, his people vote against the things they actually need. For instance, Arkansas and Mississippi lead the country in worst healthcare and education routinely. The expansion of Medicaid and education dollars would do wonders. But socialism. So the parents that have money take their kids and put them in private school to segregate them form the poor, and the older population that can't afford real healthcare run risk. Cant find the gif of DWade but "I love it"........ it makes me laugh to watch people chose polotical pride over logic.
Believe it aint "his people" gettin f*ckd on the food stamps. Dems dont vote for this man.

I'll take your word for it regarding the Amazon jobs.

I just wanted to address the stigma that snap is something other than a working poor issue. I know more than one single mom working & receiving welfare. That 80s era Reagan welfare stereotype is outdated. Clinton's Welfare to work initiative was one of many laws that made it increasingly difficult to defraud the system, not to mention that no one can live on snap a*sistance alone. The truth is that no one has to defraud the system: people can be so broke with so many children that they can both work & receive government a*sistance. That's the new reality: we're a nation full of entry level service employees. In short, WE'VE GOT JOBS for Americans. Most aren't enough to live on.

Here's what we know:
Data on employment must be submitted by snap recipients. The data suggests that 80% live in a household with at least one person working within the year.

The amount of fraud is speculative at best. We have tons of actual data regarding how much welfare is used by employees at several corporations tho.

You're right.

I do it for the lurkers. I challenge political lies because too many are going around unchallenged.

That lazy = welfare recipient BS is one that's lasted decades because it's rarely disputed.

I've met black conservatives who base their political affiliation on the idea that Democrats only offer you a handout. Without the truth, there's no progress. We need advanced job skills, not low level service jobs that leave people in need of government a*sistance.

People who can qualify for a*sistance vote the least regardless of party affiliation. Besides, politicians don't put 'increased welfare' out as a campaign promise.

Ppl lie everyday/work for cash. Lets not be naive. I believe those numbers are okay but full of fraud goes on that stray the numbers. Lets be smart.

How the men in the escalades pay with snap cards? How the ones with the Louis purses pull out the snap card?

It's like we're making different points here.

My response to Frasier's 'get a job' comment is that they already have one.

How the men in the escalades pay with snap cards?
This further illustrates my point. In response to Frasier, it's not about 'getting a job'. No one can survive on food stamps alone. I once knew a barber who made his money cutting hair & selling weed. In addition, his girl did hair in their home(unreported income). They used SNAP. It goes without saying that neither of them were the political type. These people don't vote to increase snap dividends. Besides, I've known more single moms who work 50+ hrs and still use SNAP.

Nevertheless, to actually address your point: according to the data you posted, fraud is the exception, not the norm.

so what if a family gets $500 a month in food stamps...its nothing compared to the trillions handed to multi billion dollar corporations that dont need corporate welfare

its also nothing compared to the $100 billion dollar daily ponzi scheme thats just wall street corporate welfare
What you mean so what? Thereís families sitting on their a*s getting free money for food while others are struggling. Billion dollar corporations add value. Whatís worse? Amazon going down and 100s of thousands of people losing work OR people who donít even work and keep having kids so they can abuse a system losing food stamps?

I was telling people this was coming & the people that need it just continue to fall for the traps that makes gov't case stronger for cuts...

Most recent popular example:

Popeyes chicken sandwich... if you have people in areas where you they need a*sistance, then it shouldn't be no reason why people in that area of poverty should be going out buying premium priced chicken sandwiches at record numbers. Economics that shows people probably don't need as much as they claim they do.

If you're not reporting income that would disqualify you from receiving benefits then thats fraud. A pretty simple formula.

Wow I watched that video and was so dumbfounded by their stupidity I had to watch it again to show my wife.

They are literally dying in that town from the coal, but want the jobs backs. Obama care is literally saving their lives, and thousands of a month they couldnít afford otherwise.

These clowns are not only voting against their personal interest, theyíre vote against themselves living.

That hatred runs deep
