The lights are thin so they don't break or get scratched offroad

when you build a track record for getting it done and improving on things each time + over the air updates, you build trust with your consumer and can do stuff like show off a prototype and get half a million pre orders in a month.

on a personal level i think elon is a nut & most likely a piece of shyt husband and father.

as a business man, he's a modern day howard hughes. part of being a visionary leader is being able to sell something that doesnt yet exist by making people believe that it needs to.
