At 29 years old, I still never had a car payment.... Never understood it.

It's called building credit Mr Ballout. Better credit equal putting less down/paying less overall. How do you not understand that?

I still proudly rock my V6 Maro great on road trips plenty fast for city. Dust y’all nuccas on my bike anyway.
I fu*k with bikes too. V6 Camaros tho...

I have a 2SS. The LS engine is really the only reason to touch that car. Without the V8, it's really just a Malibu couple that's hard to see out of.

If you ever get a V8 you'll see. I was the same way. I swore there was no difference between the V6 and the V8. I could not have been more wrong.

Nothing like that V8 rumble. Every time I start my car up I'm like

Most people don't understand building credit until its too late. Then they get fu*ked by the banks on mortgage loans.

Leasing too. Depending on where you live, leasing can be a great option. You just pay the money to use their sh*t then give it back at the end. They have to fix all the mechanical breakdowns too.

I spend about $400 a month on my car note plus insurance and gas for the month.

Luckily my job pays for my transportation to and from work and gives me a Uber credits.

You should never have a car note over $200 if your not making more then 6 figures.

I plan on getting a challenger in 2 yrs but I’m putting down 10 stacks and selling my Benz

Na na didnít say all that, just that Iím happy with my decision economically and by the seat of my pantsometer, and I rented a Vette for New Years 2018 drove it like a mad man they cool and all but the bike dusted a stock gallardo ainít too much in that 3 second club, just like a v8 sh*ts on a V6 to you someone sh*tting on it with a V10 and someone else with a V12 so on

Nah that ain't always true at all. sh*t the Model S is one of the faster cars I've ever been in and that's a V-Nothing

Just kinda depends. It's not always just more cylinders = more power. Faster car I've ever been in was a 2003 Terminator. Legit felt like I was gonna fall through the back of the seat when he accelerated

Look almost identical to this one. I'm buying one as soon as I get my money right

NEVER buy a V6 "muscle" car.... But since you already got it just accept your L. Learn and don't make the same mistake next time.

The only thing that's worse than a n*gga with a V6 muscle car is a n*gga that tries to turn his V6 into a V8. Save up the money and get a V8 or buy something else. Cause no matter what engine or exhaust you put on/in that car, it won't be the same.

also don't be the n*gga trying to race V8s and sh*t knowing you bought the stripper version of a mustang. I was racing a lame in a V6 last night.

fu*king facts!!!! That nor them damn EcoBoost, just get the GT or v8, your sanity and heart with thank you for it

Bro that n*gga is in every thread about cars sh*tting on anybody that donít have a V8.

Car heads canít grasp that most people ARENT car heads and could give a fu*k about a V8.

Props on the bike, too. Sold my GSXR1k and about to cop a CBR1k

A car note isnít keeping you broke

You are keeping yourself broke

If $500 = $6000 a year is keeping you broke you gotta re evaluate your personal
Income.

Unless that extra 6k could be leveraged for profit( you can get a line of credit for more than that any)

My rebuttal to that is if you're not a car guy, don't buy a muscle/sports/performance car. You should be buying some practical sh*t like a Civic.

You should be listening to car guys for advice if you're not a car guy. You know bikes and I'm sure you have bikes that you'd NEVER recommend to people. Like I'd never let anyone get an older Ninja 250 because of the carb.

And I thought the CBR 600 was the one with the underseat pipe. The Fireblade has a side exhaust on all the years as far as I know.

The only reason that V6 vs V8 makes people mad is cause deep down you all know it's true.

Smaller cities require more commute. In Louisiana for example, im in Baton Rouge. Our public transportation is sh*t. And we have the highest insurance and worse roads in the country. So if you don't buy a decent newer car then you riding in the wild. 100%+ humidity with extreme heat, constant flooding and raining, and terrible roads woulda ate your Audi for lunch. Long story short, you need to constantly buy newer cars or pay more or equal to a note in repairs, tires, and insurance each year.

It’s all relative. If a 500/mo car payment is keeping you broke then, yeah, should probably live within your means.

I never understood why people pocket watch. Is a $500/mo payment sh*t to a person making 250k+/year?

There are so many Hondas and Toyotas out there. There are so many parts for Hondas and Toyotas. If you know how to work with cars, you even can get a nice BMW. A few thousands, send it to a body dude, and he will find the original paint, get rid of the rust, repaint the sh*t. Goto the scrap yard for some parts, get it fully detailed, goto the mechanic to look it over, and get the oil changes...and if you know to work with cars, you can do yourself.

The more I think about it, its looking worth it to me to just be used. You really just need a car to take you to work. Why get a note to pay each month?

Really good point some of the financial advice is broad but I understand what your saying. Each city, state, etc is different and it also depends on what type of job you have

If you can get past your ego and accept something old and reliable...

Buying used in full is absolutely the right choice.
