See this argument is dumb using those 3 as an example

Those guys are 20 billion+ each.....they can dress however the fu*k they want to dress and no one cares

Now if those guys had careers making 100K a year they may dress different

There are rich people who have expensive clothes and rich people who don't have expensive clothes

There are rich people who have Buggatis and planes and rich people that don't

If you are that rich you can do whatever the fu*k you want

Now if you are building wealth and going up the ladder....it does matter....at the top not really

This type of sh*t is usually done as a way to take a shot at Black people
There are plenty of high net worth individuals that dress in expensive gear
Its nothing to take seriously

Proud to be black. It's in our nature to be flashy and have swag. No black person with bread makes memes like that. This came from some broke person with a podcast. I'd bet money on it.

So how do the poor survive depressions? George Orwell explained it perfectly. “Instead of raging against their destiny, they have made things tolerable by reducing their standards. But they don’t necessarily reduce their standards by cutting out luxuries, and concentrating on necessities; more often, it is the other way around…Hence, in a decade of unparalleled depression, the consumption of all cheap luxuries has increased.”

According to economists Banerjee & Duflo, “The poor are skeptical about their supposed opportunities, and the possibility of any radical change in their lives…Therefore, they focus on the here and now, on living their lives as pleasantly as possible, and on celebrating when the occasion demands it.”
that's one perspective.

I also remember reading something here on BX about why poor people buy expensive sh*t or flashier sh*t, i forget exactly what it said but from what I remember it was basically saying that ....

wealthy people dont have to show off their money, people know they're rich. plus they've had the money for so long that it's just normal for them, therefore the desire to brag isn't necessarily absent but differnet (owning businesses, yachts, next level stuff)

whereas poor people, never having had anything really, as soon as they get something of high value they want to show it off quickly in the form of shoes, cars, jewelry and things that you can show off easier (by going to the mall, sh*t like that).

this is how you can separate someone who is newly rich to someone who is wealthy, people who just got money will generally advertise it. therefore most times you see someone stunting with a large Gucci belt on chances are they have new money

These type of memes are corny as fu*k

Anyone who abides by this needs To get a mental aptitude test

They dress like sh*t cause they have zero fashion sense

These are dudes that spent countless hours in the dark coding and not going outside , why would they prioritize dressing well?

Theres many more billion and millionaires that are in other fields that dress well because appearance does play into being successful

Maybe the brands aren’t prominently displayed but they do spend money on clothes and cars etc

It's not in our nature to be insecure, your confidence shouldn't come from your closet
That's the difference between Kendrick and Cole and the rest of these clown rappers, they're confident in themselves and don't need to be flashy to prove their worth

if you have disposable income then spend it however you want, you only live once. And im sure those guys spend money on sh*t they really dont need. I only take issue when people put material things before taking care of the necessities.

the individual style has nothing to do with money. they're all examples of modern wealth as the tech speaks for itself and its no need to impress another human. and minimalism is a growing trend as the previous generations greed and hoarding didn't help much so things are easier when they're simple.

gucci, LVMH and most luxury brands are about fashion. if you aren't into fashion then its a waste of money.

Has nothing to do with priorities and everything to do with culture. Do we really expect introvert tech guys, 2 of which were born during the end of world war 2, to have any sense of style or fashion. Why is it that we compare old culturally bland white guys or tech guys to flashy rappers to take shots at black people. Post Ralph Lauren or Christian louboutin. Also, these guys spend hundreds of millions on yachts or other hobbies but we fail to mention that to try and validate some dog whistle racist point.
