I have 3 shares of Disney, cost me a little over $400...take a wild guess of how much my dividend was...I can count it on 2 fingers

Yeah, that same Disney that's been in existence for 100 years already

Take a wild guess of how many times I've been paid a dividend in one year...I can count it on 2 fingers
The difference is had you held Disney for 10 years you would of made 5-6x your money back.

False af. Where’d you even get this theory from?

I’m talking dividends only, since everyone’s gripe seems to be what the returns are . I even made the distinction on the previous page between trading and parking your money for the purpose of dividends and returns

This clearly isn’t the type of investment vehicle you would invest in if you were looking to trade your shares ... it isn’t even publicly traded

to everyone - this douchbag @ has been pumping this sh*t for years.

ive made several posts about this including doing some calculations on how much of a return you can expect to get (spoiler - its not much). somehow - they always get deleted. @ can you look into this?

1. Pumping sh*t for years when the fund just launched last year? Next...

2. A capital gain from trading your publicly owned share after 10 years is not a "return"...you do know that right? You do know Disney's dividend has never exceeded 80-90 cents per share. Right?

3. Why do you care if you're not invested? What's your intention?

4. Don't bother replying...you clearly have nothing of value to add to this thread

Listen dude. First of all a capital gain is a return. I told you this before, and i 'll tell you again. i know its the internet and we cant see eachother. But you are speaking to a F/O capital markets professional. Please do not ever in your life try to educate me again. Quit while you are behind.

and to answer #3, i care because i'd hate to see people misplace their money with a fund manager thats raping them on fees. 50% fu*king percent. there is not an investment advisor on earth that would say thats acceptable. not to mention 5.5% management fees. a whooping 3.5% higher than any hedge fund you can think of....embarrassing. robbery.

You know very well comparing stock traded on a publicly held market and shares you don't traded is like apple and oranges

You know very well the whole theme here is dividends, a return on the money you have parked in a fund/company...how are we going to compare share price fluctuation to a fund that doesn't even have a share price?

Dividends and return is clearly synonymous...not waiting 10+ years to trade the shares you have in a 100 year old fund...tell the people what the really want to know...how much they would have made on their annual 1099 from investing in Disney

Don't let these detractors discourage you or sidetrack you. You all know the true reason you would invest in this fund, some others may not. Others will tell you to put your money elsewhere for a marginal dividend and hope that the stock price shoots way up after some years

You see the portfolio, you see the a*sets being accumulated. Had this been a Korean fund accumulating a*sets all over the US, no one would bat an eye even if $2000 was the minimum investment

You know the purpose of this fund, and make your decision based on that

They started doing semi annual payments since 2015. So is " never" the correct word?

what in gods name are you talking about? you are making zero sense. of course it has a "share price". The share price is the current NAV of the fund divided by the number of units.

Just stop talking. This is down right fraud. You are misleading people into thinking a 5.5% management fee and 50% cut of profits is normal. people should go to jail for this.

The minimum investment is $500 or 10 shares. "$50 per unit" as they said.
