Another reason why I don't like Teslas. Imagine fixing a car and you're not allowed to use a gas pump?

They're within their right to do so unfortunately

Just like other brands do the same

This is a failure of right to repair laws more than anything else and Tesla shouldn't even be in the position to do this

Car manufacturers dont own gas pumps. Tesla owns their supercharger network and should do have a right to restrict the usage of it.

Salvage vehicles should be scrapped anyway. Why should a manufacturer have to be responsible and support a vehicle that was deemed unsafe / not road worthy?

Iím with you on that, but itís the fact that youíll charge me $1,000 - $7,000 for a salvage inspection and still wonít let me supercharge after it clears is weak.

funny thing is there are A LOT of salvage teslas cuz high-end models too much car for most people but since it looks so down to earth and dependable you get it anyway.

imagine a soccer mom, hopping into a p100d S or X after a few mimosas at brunch.

That's basically like hopping into a McLaren drunk.

Now if only it looked like a Mclaren I'd be interested

Just seen the Model Y review and all the teslas are so fu*king bland

besides the x with the doors but then that's almost TOO flashy

I like the S but it's time for a facelift.

Kinda like the 3 but not really. Will probably still get it.

its a bit of a different situation
its electric so if the car was salvaged and not done by a certified tesla shop.
it could short the car batteries or charger and cause an explosion.

there's too many variables and tesla would be liable
