Can it be both? We live in such an “either/or” world. Same reason why KD went to Brooklyn when he decided he was going to leave GS. Good young core. Another star to play along side with.
How could it be both?

If Cle had no potential would he of went back?

Bron had to go to the Heat because Miami had Wade and space for two max players. Period. Wade with 2 max guys were better than Cleveland and wouldve gave Boston a run for their money. Period.

Durant had to sign with Warriors because GSW and Cle were going to be better. OKC was always gonna come up short with Russ.

They both gave themselves the best chance to win. If either does something different, its possible they both dont have a title.

Thats a lie. Andre Iguadola himself vouched for OKC being the best team in basketball and he played them both back to back so that narrative you jus stated is out the window

Cleveland needed freakish performances from 2 players to even come close to winning...

Lebron played wit Mo williams and larry hughes as his two best players in cleveland..and jamison if u wanna throw him in there

Durant played wit Westbrook, harden, ibaka, adams, kanter, jus a well rounded roster wit loads of talent around him

Joining the 73-9 championship warriors was a joke....they was clearly the better team throughout the series and completely blew it...and he went and joined the team he lost to? No, its not even close to the same thing and he violated every unwritten competitive rule in basketball

But its clear your mind is already made up despite how many facts get thrown at you..

Boy if this ain't the fu*king dumbest a*s thing I've read on this site. Sadly this figment of your imagination it seems to be the only "proof" you KD haters can come up with. Nimrods stay clinging to some sh*t they made up in their heads because it doesn't fit their narrative.

Fact, Lebron was known as a choker when he left Cleveland. No one wanted to join him in Cleveland because he wasnt enough to bring anyone to Cleveland. Fact.

Fact Wade had won a title in 06, and got hurt in 07, and Heat then went all in on 2010. They won a title just 4 yrs before Bron and had space for 2 max players around Wade, who was thought to be at worst 3 best player in the NBA. Facts.

OKC had a decent run that year, and did what they were known to do, which was choke. They had a surprise run that year, and blew a 3-1 lead. They choked again. They were capped out and any move they could make wouldnt have taken them over the top. GSW still had space for another max guy, so they wouldve got better. Facts.

Durant went to the team most likely to win, and so did Lebron. The exact circumstances are different, but they both went to the only team that had the space, and was better than any other option at that point.

Its a spin when you start saying Lebron saved Miami, and OKC was better or going to be better the following year than GSW, Spurs or Cle.

It fits your version, to make OKC better than it really was, and was really going to be, and at the same time, making 2010 Lebron an obvious winner, when he was known for losing. Delonte, Lechoke, LeElbow, LeQuit. That was what people said about Lebron in the playoffs.

I firmly believe that Lebron signed with the only team that was going to get him a title quickly, and Durant signed with the only team that was going to get him a title quickly. They both signed with their only options to win.
Stop it, you're actually making sense. That doesn't fly around here because but but but 73 win team but but but imaginary rules about respecting competition..

Should MJ have not participated on the '92 dream team because the team was too stacked? fu*k is wrong with people man

Boy n*ggaz like you dumb as hell! Yes OKC had a talented squad but was that talent coached up to play as a team or a two man iso show? That same year OKC lost in the WCF they had THE MOST BLOWN 4TH QTR LEADS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE FOR THE SEASON BCUZ THEY WERE SO DAMN PREDICTABLE. So the regular season was just a forecast of things to come in the playoffs plus hard work beats talent any day if the talent doesn't work hard. Golden State went on to win that series bcuz they had the better TEAM & SCHEME. Draymond knew KD felt underappreciated in OKC so the Hampton 4 devised a plan to get their greatest obstacle out of the way to form one of the most talented teams ever. Then somewhere along the way Draymond forgot & let his mouth write a check his azz couldn't cash & lost to Toronto w/o the guy they didn't need & won w/o.

You're right, everyone with the choice and a brain would CHOOSE to make their job, aka their livelihood, HARDER, rather than easier.
And anyone who chooses to take advantage of an opportunity to be successful without an overwhelming investment necessary, is a "stone cold pu**y"

Better team and scheme right? After winning two games in the series by 30+? Okcs bigs was a nightmare for Gs all series n they couldnt handle it

n*ggas out here capes on lying they a*s off. GS aint have a better team or scheme. KD, the n*gga you defending jus said the scheme GS runs is only so effective through 2 rounds of the playoffs

He said that last night. So DM him and take that up wit him, im sure his punk emotional a*s will respond

You leave arguably the best rounded roster in the nba to go to a team and mvp player who pulled your card

Iggy already said they was better than anyone in the postseason. You wana argue that? How about Okc dominated most of that series and most of game 6 before an epic collapse?

Biggest pu**yhole move in sports history. No wonder a real n*gga like russ wouldnt even text him. No wonder the whole okc organization wouldnt greet a pu**y like that. Steph curry used to eat his food n he went and joined em up 3-1 in the conference finals

Get the fu*k outta here wit that

KD basically said I had to get outta Golden State because no matter how much they won, he wasn’t getting the credit. Cause it wasn’t his team. He’s correct.
Spent 3 whole years deflecting everything people were saying about him on and off the court to the media just to dip out for the very same reasons his haters were pointing out.

He went there to win rings, but he was never going to be a warrior at heart.

We all knew this from the jump.

And yeah, it’s a get a bucket league, but his iso play was the reason the Rockets almost knocked them off 2 seasons ago. He’s probably saying that mess because he got in his feelings about Kerr yelling at him for holding onto the ball too long.

It can be both because...drumroll...he went to Cleveland because they had potential AND because he had previously "failed" in Cleveland and wanted to go back there and try to win. There were other rosters with potential, but he selected the roster with potential that took him back to where he started.

Again, if Cle was trash he wouldnt of went back..Therefore everything else is irrelvant.

No, I get what you’re trying to do and you’re attached to your argument because it works for you. Something can be both/and....and that matters. It matters that it was Cleveland that he went back to, no matter the reason. That’s important to the narrative and you can’t just throw that out because you want to.
