Endgame is not an incredible feat of cinema, that script was on a 5th grade level at best.

Literally only MCU stans think the movie is even decent. The actual comic book readers like myself realize how fu*king trash the movie is.

I guarantee you will never watch the movie in 2020 and beyond.

The marvel films were great and they did a great job putting that comic material to film. However I agree with Martin. Those movies were just really expensive episodes. Majority of them were filmed almost entirely on green screen sets. Entertaining af yea, Oscar worthy, fu*k no.

Imagine Marty Scorsese struggling to get funding for a film
Yet the Irishman is premiering on Netflix instead of a theatrical release. Y’all n*ggas clearly don’t follow how the film industry has been operating on theatrical releases in the past 10 years. The success of the MCU has shifted big studios priorities when it comes to investing in certain projects.

He took the movie to Netflix because they offered him the most money lmfao.

Deadass dont talk to me bout no yall dont follow the film industry. Bet super hero movies lose all their buzz this decade. Directors like Scorsese can make films through any era, not when the interest for the source material is at an all time high

Gangs of New York budget... $100M
The Aviator budget... $110M
The Departed budget... $90M
Shutter Island budget... $80M
Hugo budget... $160M
The Wolf of Wall Street budget... $100M
Silence budget... $60M
The Irishman... $140M

Scorsese getting all the budget he needs. You’re delusional if you think he has any reason to be bitter. Only one movie that lost money in 20 years... Come on now... If Scorsese didn’t think what he thinks, he would’ve tried making a big budget spectacle by now, and guaranteed a big studio would give him the money he needs for it. He was about to produce Joker, but didn’t have time for it.
Do you read? Ok read this article and read the words that come out of Martins own mouth.

Why do you think this film is releasing on Netflix to begin with? The film industry is not the same since Gangs of New York or even Wolf of Wall Street. sh*t ain’t that hard to figure out.. and this coming from somebody who clearly favors his films over any comic book film.

Netflix gave him more money because Paramount would not invest the money he needed for the film.

Just stick ya a*s to watching films while cats like me are actually taping into the industry.

MARVE

I mean, you’d think a movie with a $400milli budget have some real a*s CGI.

Lol most of that money is laundered and embezzled. If you think a $100 mil + is actually getting spent on a movie you're bugging.

Unless they're recreating an ancient city from scratch there nothing that cost that much outside of the actors, execs and promotion. And from my understanding the only actor getting major bank off marvel is Robert Downey Jr

Oh please Martin. All due respect fu*k off. There’s this elitist fu*king attitude in film that I can’t stand. The douchebags with this view point also thought that Malcolm X was not Oscar worthy but a film about a bi*ch falling in love with a fishman was.

Foh. Every movie isn't meant to have the elements of an Oscar winning movie. It's literally not the definition of a movie.

One jet plane has cutting edge tech, the highest speed, and the highest pricetag. The other jet flies on decades old technology and has a tv, sleeper seats, full course meals, and an open bar.

Planes (and movies too!) are not one size fits all.
