And it looks like a car for pussies. I think Porche makes some of the softest looking cars on earth. I will never own one ever.

Fully respect Porsche performance, but those aren't muscle cars. If you buy American Muscle, you DO NOT buy a V6.
Look I’m bow tie til I die so biased here, however, the 911 is the benchmark. While I agree they’ve slightly lost the mechanical edginess they had man they’re the leading sport machine. Everyone should stop living in the past the reason they were muscle cars is they shared the chassis with the pedestrian models and had to be beefed up. More people want dedicated sport machines for the track not having 600 hp and can barely turn so u can race the guy in the F150 with too much to prove.

You cool so I ain't gonna slap your post, but that sh*t I underlined is BLASPHEMY my n*gga.

If you buy a American muscle car, it better fu*kin have muscle. Get that V6 bullsh*t outta my face.

v6 supercharged ends up between 450-500 hp

Modern v6 engines are also faster than v8s in older muscle cars

And let's not even get started on how the best American muscle car will be electric in a few years

It's 2019 man old ideas hold little weight

I don't give a fu*k about the future or your horsepower numbers. If you buy a muscle car, you buy a V8. It's that simple

911's don't use V6 motors. They use boxer 6's and those things rev like crazy. If you drove one you would instantly fall in love. And I say this as a man who owns a CTS-V, Chevelle 454 SS, and a 69 Z28.

I've been in one. Never drove but I get it.

I could never enjoy looking at that car parked in my driveway tho. It's just hideous to me. All I can see is VW

Well it did start off originally as a modified beetle. I used to hate Poesches. Then I drove a GT3 on the Nurburgring and fell in love. I want a GT3 so badly. But I also love pushrod V8's, even more so.

Loved my 11 SS, but yea everything after that just kept getting worse and worse. Making it smaller and more futuristic looking while the Dodges kept getting bigger, meaner and stuck with the retro look.

Except Ford has been outselling Dodge in the sport car department for years now.
outselling maybe but out profiting? you can get a new mustang for $2k cheaper than a challenger at entry level. the mustang sold 75k while the challenger sold 66k but there is a minimum $2k difference in price. while camero sold 50k and its the cheapes of the 3 starting $1k less than the mustang.

The Hellcat is a small segment of what they sell though. The hellcat is 60-70gs+ brand new. The demon is 80gs. The average person can't spend that on a car. Most of the Dodges you see on the street are sxt, r/t, scat packs. But Dodge has been great at creating a model for everyone.
thats true but that helps with selling the smaller trims, even the base model can get AWD with 305 HP. you can make it snow equipped. even the cheapest one can be configured in a fun way. i don't think any other muscle car has a winter package

Sounds like goalpost moving. Bottom line, you said Ford couldn’t compete and that is demonstrably false. In fact, Ford had Dodge beat by a large margin in sales and Dodge is JUST now beginning to CATCH UP.

Not when you drive it. I have a 2012 and it's fu*kin impossible to see out of. Somehow they made the 2016 even worse. I was gonna buy one but I test drove it and I couldn't see sh*t.

Honestly everything after 2013 is a disappointment in some way. The 2016 was better than the 2013-2015 and it's better than the current model, but it was still way too euro looking and soft looking. It's not a muscle car.
Yeah a few years back I test drove a ‘12 Camaro and I couldn’t see out of it either

never been a fan of any of these muscle cars why do i want a plastic version of a car from 50 years years ago? some sh*t need to stay in the past cars should not look familiar we going into 2020 a*s backwards trying to replicate sh*t from the 60s instead of sh*t from the Jetsons. only reason cars have to look that old is for old people who have money to relive their youth car companies don't give a sh*t about young people they have no money

Facts my 300 got hit a couple years ago and all the rental place had was a Camaro. That sh*t was the most uncomfortable impractical car i have ever been in. Im 6'1 so im kinda tall, but not basketball player tall and i had to figure out a system to get in and out of the car, and the blind spots while driving were terrible. At the time i was driving an hour each way to work, and i wasn't gonna make it in that car. Ended up just lettin my girl drive the Camaro and i took her car to work until my car was finished

Chevy fu*ked up when they k*lled the big body impala and started making the impala look like fu*kin rental cars.

For the camaro TO ME the apex was the IROC Z.

Dodge and ford has it on lock.. with dodge having better designs and ford having better reliability.

Still love my 2012 charger

Some people (like me) just wanna go fast and not spend a ton of money. I'm not driving no bi*ch a*s Euro cars with soft lines either so muscle cars are my go to.

That’s true, the mustang sells better overall as it has a feminine appeal as well. But I’m taking about what dodge is doing now. They just released new versions of the challenger and FCA is doing s lot to make all their vehicles cooler with standard safety tech, standard LEDs and the best seats and infotainment in the business for all brands. So pound for pound 2019/2020. Jeep is k*lling it lately. You can get a hellcat or Alfa ramen engine in jeep. They’re making vehicles fun. And the other brands at the moment can’t compete if you’re comparison shopping. I expect the mustang to do the most gross sales as it’s been around forever.
