Yeah that's why Pac should of been Kain. Hughes Brothers tried to play Pac, even though he stole the show in Juice. Plus the movie would of did way bigger numbers

True but I guess Sharif was the cautionary tale in the movie. Even if you're not active in the streets you can still get caught up for being affiliated with it. But to your point the role is nonsensical which i remember why pac said he didn't want to portray it.

It's like you didn't watch or understand the movie. "Sharif was an ex knucklehead turned Muslim. He was so happy to be learning something he liked he kept coming at us with it"

n*gga was newly converted after doing dirt his whole life. The dichotomy of those two things at play within a young brother is very real. Yeah he was NOI but he was a street n*gga longer than NOI. Probably rebelled against his father Christian lifestyle but that's another story.
