This is not uncommon in history for strategic alliances between royal houses. An older man or woman might get married to an underage individual, but they will wait until physical maturity to consummate the marriage. We saw it in GoT with Tommen Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell. It just gets people less upset when the woman is older.

Nothing can match the performances of Ned Stark and the whole Lannister family but the cast is growing on me more every episode.

They aren’t making the women give off that Ultra Super Fem vibe and I appreciate that. I’d like to see Corlys a*sert himself more now that he is unleashed. I don’t like how Hightower sonned him and the king started smirking. Or how Daemon threatened him like he was a peon. He’s the richest man in the kingdom and controls half of their naval power I want to see him start checking mofos

Exactly. I counted 2 bad guys thus far. Him and the brother. And maybe 2 good guys. The princess and the knight. Got gave us a plethora of good guys and bad guys in the first 2 episodes. But Hod is still a good show for now.
