Now it's racist to be objective when it comes to blacks

Y'all worse than feminist and gays
Never said that. I just don’t see the same energy when it comes to other races. I wanted to know if you were black? but seeing how you avoided that question and went to the semi name calling and memes. Don’t even worry about it. The “ Y’all” was a dead give away. All good my white brother. I know to take what you say with a grain of salt.

Here what he said about Jay and Diddy

Jay owns 50% of Rock Nation, he sold half of it to Live Nation almost a decade ago after Sony gave him the money to start the company.

Diddy does not car about Bad Boy Records anymore, he just gets a check cut to him. He gave up control years ago to focus on Revolt TV and his Ciroc investment.

sad as fu*k when you sit and think of it but i put the blame on consumers. 95% of them are casuals or too lazy/uninvested to support indie artists. if everybody supported their fav rappers the way people do tech 9 the game would be different

Jaded misanthrope whines on twitter #236272

I like he singles out Hip-Hop specifically, and not the fact thaf hip-hop exists in a world wherein Western imperialism ensured that every facet of entertainment has Western influences.

But yes; let’s dogpile on ourselves with no alternative on how to get out this financial/social rut he’s bi*ching about.

Very productive.

Also, Rick Rubin started Def Jam in the 80s so idk what the fu*k this kiddy pool-deep headass cornball is talking about.

America is 67% white; what the fu*k does he expect an ethnic background of 12% NOW(nevermind what the percentage was in the 80s) to do?
He probably expected out of that 12% or whatever the percentage it was in the ‘80s at least one or two people to create a record label independent from major corporations to house black artists but you and I both know that this isn’t happening especially during them times when distribution was hard to attain as well as marketing/promotion services, you can do it now though.

Capitalism doesnt promote what we’re suggesting tho. Black Panthers were practicing socialist ideals for a reason.

Tweets like that are detrimental to any forms of critical thinking and just perpetuate self-hate.

I feel you but I think he means in the context of how most hip hop heads might use the word, culture.. for example saying sh*t like, “This n*gga is detrimental to the culture”.

Instead of acknowledging what he said as true, y'all are name calling.. Jay Z spent the whole 4:44 album talking about this. Jay knows he may have been apart of the problem in the past and is righting his wrongs by trying to lead the younger generation in a different path from what he took.

Do you feel that black people should lean more towards the side of socialism rather than capitalism when we are building our community up?

Lol. Since when do the artists own the companies in any genre in anything? This dude is saying nothing. sh*tting on black ppl and passing it off as "knowledge". You wanna own some Sony or Warner music group? Ok. Buy their stock. Anyone can. Hip hop artists are actually some of the most entrepreneurial of any genre. Compare the amount of record labels these dudes started to rock music for example. This n*gga just out here speaking fake woke sh*t and the usual suspects eating it up. You think the CEO of livenation has Jay Z money? You'd be mistaken. Ppl do deals, they sell businesses, start new ones. Companies consolidate. That's how it works. n*gga whining about livenation owning a piece of roc nation like he analyzed the deal structure and wat it meant for Jay's pockets. And most of y'all eat that sh*t up cuz you can't imagine a black man being master of his own universe. You're brainwashed. The big record companies are established in DISTRIBUTION. You know why no one has knocked em off. Distribution is a low margin business dependent on SCALE. It's much more profitable (and risky) to be on the A&R side (rap-a-lot, no limit, roc, now QC etc.) where you can make a ton on a small scale (signing a few hot artists). It's simply not smart to try and take distribution from the big guys, and it isn't that profitable. Shout-out to Empire records for getting in on digital distribution. Anyway y'all continue.
