I'd rather be homeless in Frisco, SD or LA than live in any of those sh*tty cities.

Not surprising all these places but 1 be getting cold af! No one wants to honestly live where it be cold. I really don't understand how places like NYC, and DC be winning. Folks sleeping on Florida but I understand why. You can get something fly for the low in some of those cities in FL on the water

Nyc and DC is a culture/vibe thing

They both like political, financial hubs

There is a luster to those cities that feels other cities have

If you don't mind the cold. My homegirl went from vegas to buffalo. She was pissed. When nyc had bad snow like maybe 6 to 8 inches. She would send pics of her front door open and you couldn't see outside just snow literally. They would get 6ft.

I hate the cold and know buffalo even colder. She went from warm weather great food and bud to cold. She also said don't go to buffalo and try to order buffalo wings. They'll look at you like your slow. That was a couple years ago. According to that list more people left. I'm sure that's probably a sign.

As a person born and raised in Ohio....if you're moving to Toledo or Dayton something went terribly wrong

Cleveland is always boxden's fav punching even tho most have never been and there are a ton of nice areas there. Midwest cost of living(outside of Chicago)>>>

It's on the border with Mexico. Badly built mexican chicks all in brownsville. Built like O linemen, you might catch a decent Americanized daughter but she gonna already have like 4 kids. Fertile as fu*k

They only show you black neighborhoods but wonít tell you about the white trash cities where you can buy a home for 10k next to someone who parked their trailer truck next to you with a blow up pool in the back they use for baths.

Been checking out Ohio and upstate NY for a min, but the vacancy rates are outrageous for OOS investing. A lot of multi families which is attractive, but scared of the freezing cold winters and maintenance on pipes and boilers and sh*t like that. There also isn’t a lot attracting ppl up there.

Detroit has potential because of the beautiful a*s historic homes, but ppl are hip now (since around 15/16) and the great deals are lessening. Still there, but whereas you were getting a 6 bd 4ba 3000sqft in 2011 for 15k, it might be a 3bd 2ba with 1500sq for 30k now

If I had to make a prediction I was say check out the lesser known but also populated cities in NC and SC. Less rental rules and less maintenance and retirement rentals galore

With a 1.5 million living in the metro and 4 million total if you count Reynosa which is right beside it, no, lots of people. The issue people have is culture, if you can’t stand it you won’t be happy.

Notice on the list the population for Brownsville increased compared to the rest. That’s the valley in general, population keeps rising. It’ll look like San Antonio in 15 years.

Like I said if you got some money to invest it’s a good area for long term real estate holding. Cost of living dirt cheap. Building a home dirt cheap. But as it expands that’ll change.
