Improved push ups to 25

Improved pull ups to 10

Improved seated dips to 15

Improved 1 mile time to 8:19

Up to running 3 miles at once

Cut down junk food consumption

Increased fruit and vegetable consumption

Cut down energy drink consumption to 2 cans per a week

Leg still hurts but it's holding up so far with my runs.

Week 3 of being back in the gym complete.

Work ki1led me last week and I missed a whole week of working out.

Thought I lost weight, I feel and look lighter but the scale said 235.0 lbs this morning

You more than likely recomposed your bodyÖ lost fat and put on some muscle.
Thats what typically happens when you look a lil slimmer but the scale says the same weight or even more.. donít let that discourage you. Keep working!

Probably not, as long as you are getting enough sleep and eating enough you should be fine. It's very hard to over train. The problem most people run into is they are not eating right or getting enough sleep. Your body will let you know if you need to slow it down some or take a look at what you're doing.

walking is one of the best things you can do for yourself ...lot of benefits to low impact excercises...plus you can focus on an audio book or something since it doesn't require so much of your attention

Did a 30-minute walk listening to music around the parking lot.
Plus my mom got me this cool new journal for Christmas!
I am going to manifest the healthiest I have ever been in 2024!
I know I said I was going to work out all 2023; I did slightly,
just in gaps; where I got unmotivated for weeks at a time;
Going to journal down what I am going to do, so far it's working;
Doing planks & walking, plus just eating healthier and fasting;
2024 will probably be like similar years where I get pumped for a new start;
Then fall off, but the goal this year is to just get back on track;
so it's only a week at max where I fall off and get back on track;
Instead of taking a month off from working out, I think this journal will help!
With the workout thread here, Boxden, & City-data; I'll report back with progress;
I live above a gym, so I have zero excuses. Gym will be packed since it's the start of the year;
I think planking and eating better with some fasting will get me where I want to go;


No December thread, anyone got some motivation for a fresh start in 2024?
