At 66 years old this is still my go to exercise for core training, it really hits all the muscles of abdominal region.
It’s important to raise your hips and squeeze the abs on each rep to avoid hitting the hip flexors too much.

I think leg raises are the best ab exercise. I have Baseblocks I use for a lot of core training, plus my pull up bar. I started doing a lot more calisthenics this past year.

I've been into more stability exercises. Like suitcase walk. Or kettle bell around the world/slingshots. And constant tension isometric type exercises. Or leg raise type of exercises. I just dont like crunch motion ab exercises. Just doesn't feel natural to me.

Heavy compound movements, squats, deadlifts, ohp. Weighted pullups, dips, Farmer, suitcase, overhead carries. Unilateral exercises, chops with cables w/ different angles, stability ball work. Some sprinting once or twice a day x4-5 a week. I work at a gym sometimes workout in between clients. Microdosing workouts as been a gamechanger for me.

Around the world calisthenics (5 pullups, 5 dips, 10 diamond push-ups with 1 raised leg) for 10 rounds


and adding the jumps (similar to dude on the right wearing red) 5 times per round

This totals 50 pullups, 50 dips, 100 push ups, and 250 jumps




every now and then switching back to bodybuilding, or introducing weights to my around the world routine (barbell bench press for the most part)

which search terms do you usually hit up
I usually just do "ab workout" or "core workout" then use the filters to choose between 4 minutes and 20 minutes (to get rid of all the shorts videos) and then ill do uploaded today or this week with the filters

Good question!

When i started, it used to ki1l me so i would take breaks between sets

Now i take 2min30s between rounds, cause the squat jumps are an addition that does require a break between rounds lol


Correction: rounds not sets on the last 2 sentences
