How do you get all your protein throughout the day?

I'm finding it difficult to get all the necessary protein I need simply because the amount is a lot (getting 0.5-1g per pound).

Whey protein is a no-go because too much dairy is disease-like imo.

How do you get all that protein man?

There's other protein types you can use as a replacement. For example, I was using hemp protein for awhile, but I switched back to whey because it had a better amino acid profile. They have non dairy whey options as well.

Getting all of your protein throughout the day can seem difficult at first, but there's workarounds that you can use to incorporate it into your eating regiment without feeling like you're over-extending yourself to reach your macros.

I'll give you a rough example of how I eat to reach my macros:

Wake up drink:
(1) 8 oz carton of non dairy Gold's Gym protein shake = 25 grams of protein

Within about 30 minutes I'll eat breakfast, which is usually:
Oatmeal with peanut butter, hemp seeds, coconut oil, and chia seeds
Half of cup of oatmeal = 5 grams of protein
2 scoops of peanut butter = 8 grams
2 tbsps of hemp seeds = 9 grams of protein
1 tbsp of chai seeds = 8 grams of protein

Just starting out in the morning, I've already consumed 55 grams of various protein sources effortlessly

Lunch (it varies) but I'll give an example of something I would eat:
Premade spaghetti and meatball meal from the local grocer and a veggie on the side (preferably broccoli since it has protein in it)
The spaghetti meal = 33 grams of protein
Broccoli = 3 grams

Now we're at 91 grams of protein (these are somewhat light meals)

Pre-workout food:
A homemade protein shake made from 1 banana, 1 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of pasterized liquid egg whites (I know it sounds gross, but it has zero taste, and the protein/magneisum/zinc content is insane), an avoacodo, and a scoop of chocolate whey

1 cup of liquid egg whites = 20 grams of protein
1 scoop of whey = 25 grams of protein

Now we're at 136 grams of protein.

Sometimes I'll eat a light tuna dish or a can of sardines a couple of hours before I make the shake as a snack. That's another 20 grams of protein, which brings us at 156

Post workout dinner (what I eat varies), but this is typical example:
A plate of salmon, mashed potatoes, and some sort of vegetable

Salmon, depending on how much I eat = 40 grams of protein
Potatoes = 6 grams of protein

And I like to get a source of slow digesting casein protein in my system while I sleep, so I may eat a cup of plain greek yogurt with berries or a cup of cottage cheese with berries before I sleep. That's another 12-16 grams of protein

Daily total = 212 grams of protein

To piggyback off my last post. I only eat like that during days when I'm weight training. On my rest days, I eat around 90-130 grams of protein per day for maintenance.

This doctor at my gym said "protein is a myth to sell product". I didn't know enough to refute it but don't know if I believe it.

He basically said a regular balanced diet with some quality meat, beans and yogurt is all you really need. Said the crazy amounts of protein the fitness industry is promoting is setup because protein is a high margin product that's easy to sell.

I still do a scoop of protein in my shakes.
