How do I know what games are on there and do you know if they have one for oh PlayStation or playstation2?
It's over 3k games..if u want to play it chances are it's on there...yes it has PS1..and can run dreamcast so I a*sume it can also run PS2...you can add roms to it so all you have to do is download it..link the raspberry to ur wifi..and it will have a shared folder connected to ur wifi that you can drag the files straight from ur PC

That's nice but it looks like sh*t from a design perspective

People pay for convenience and presentation first and foremost
Looks like sh*t? Retropi UI is beautiful..if you mean the shell? You can pick up a WIDE variety of shells that look better than the minis

https://youtu.be/zpTlB6oju5w

Convenience? Over 3k games for 90s bucks isnt convenient?...where as you would need to pay around 2 Bill's for ALL the minis and not even have a quarter of the games?

Link on the first page...The roms store on a SD card so essentially you can have even more....the raspberry Pi is essentially a small PC..it even has KODI loaded on it...it has hdmi output..just plug the bi*ch in ur tv... turn it on..and play

Add GoldenEye 007 to that list & its an instant win

I still have my N64 & games but Id buy a N64 Mini just for the sake of it. Why not?
My nephews were visiting and like shooting games so my brother in law suggested we play goldeneye on the N64. That game aged like milk

I got mine in the mail yesterday. Nice touch allowing you to change the region & play the different versions/ROMs of these games, especially since there are regional differences between some of them (Sonic 1, Contra: Hard Corps & Mean Bean Machine/Puyo Puyo immediately come to mind). I hate that Sonic 3 wasn't included, though I understand Sega didn't want the legal headaches between Michael Jackson's estate & Brad Buxler, a former keyboardist for MJ who, to make a long story short, composed the Ice Cap Zone theme, which turned out to be a heavily-sampled version of a song his group (the Jetzones) had recorded in the '80s & released some years ago. Bullsh!t, I know, but I get it.

When they will make a Sega Saturn classic I'll sign on
...Sega lost the Source code of a number of their popular Saturn games not named Virtua f*ghter, f*ghting Vipers or NiGHTS Into Dreams (Panzer Dragoon RPG & Burning Rangers immediately come to mind), so unless they do like they did with the PS3/360/PC ports of Sonic CD & 'build' them from the ground up, there will never be a Saturn Mini. And before anyone asks, pretty much all of the popular Dreamcast games have been re-released on one system or another since the console died in 2001, so that's that.

Some of the 64 runs great...some lags...there was only 1 dreamcast game on it and I havnt ran it yet to be honest..I think it's the roms that lag..not the emulators

Yeah, for about a couple days then back to the regularly scheduled program

Those games are fun for about a hour or two, then you don't pick that sh*t up again for 6 months or never again.

I'm from that era and alot of those games didn't age well or are too hard now to even bother to play.

80 dollars is a waste, when you can spend about $300 to $400 to get all those sh*ts from back then and be done with it.
imo its the opposite oldies>>new sh*ts

A lot of lies in this post. Hell, even some of the current games are 8 and 16 bit.

Genesis/SNES aged the best out of all the generations.

LOL I mean, I guess. Its probably still a great game to me cause of the nostalgia tbh. The last time I played it, it was still fun but it wasnt quite the same as playing it as a little kid. The game is still a classic though

Hmm...From what I've read elsewhere on the Internet some time ago they shouldn't be that hard to find, even though I also heard a major ROM site was shut down late last year.
