Sprint just took $1500 from my bank account....
 

 
I auth a one time payment back in March as a guest payment To help a family member out
and they talkin bout since I made a payment they have the right since the contract stated so since there was an unpaid final bill
I’m not even on the sprint account and the sprint account holder isn’t even on my bank account
Boa or sprint won’t give me my money back
I’m talkin bout my money, not sprints, not boa, my money!!!

I’m bout to just swallow my loss and keep it truckin and fire Boa
Only do real business with my credit union anyway

This is easy. Contact the bank and tell them you don’t recognize the purchase. Mark it as fraud. They’ll reimburse you.

They saw the payment from back in March

Nah she donít have the money and sprint went down the line of cards she used til they found it... her bank account was the primary card and sprint rep told me they tried two others before they ran mine

They will investigate and call Sprint and its a wrap...he got finessed...some lessons are learned the hard way. The real question why was the bill $1500...cause who ever you paid the bill for...thats coming out her a*s...fu*k the dumbsh*t.

Nope all you have to do is tell them that you do not authorize anything. And they will totally undo it. I also have a debit card. The only reason why I know this is because something like this happened to me. All I did was call my bank and say hey I don’t know who this is I did not make this payment nor do I authorize it. I got back all $500 of my money.

I don’t know man it worked for me And my situation was almost identical to the one that you’re describing.

Call the bank it is an UNAUTHORIZED payment. You only authorized the first one. You are over complicating it, just call the bank be firm and calm and most importantly POLITE. If they tell you they can't help you a*sURE them you can.

$1500 that you didn't give the ok to is an easy win.

Yeah bruh, has the same thing happen to me with sprint a long time ago helping my niece. But in my situation I think she actually paid the other bills without my consent. Regardless, I call my bank and told them it was unauthorized, they opened an investigation and gave my my money back. Tell them you didn’t authorize the $1500

Always use credit cards as a buffer. Never directly link you bank account/ debit card to these phone companies or any company.

You gave them your card to pay one time. You did not authorize auto payment form that card. Youíre not the account holder, youíre not on the contract. Call the company who runs the card (visa, MC) say you made a one time authorized payment three months ago. You are not the account holder and you did not authorize the reoccurring payments. Unless you accidentally agreed to sprints terms which automatically set up auto payments or you left your card info on file with the account.

I work in insurance and this lady had her bill set on payroll deductions through her employer. For whatever reason they weren’t sending payment to us (insurance) for like 8 months for 3-5 cars on the policy . Then bam. 8 months of insurance. (Around 2500-2800) deducts from her check...and she gets paid once a month she was cryin in sh*t and I had to tell her “we can’t refund since it was premium owed for coverage that day I took all my bills off autodebit. fu*k that sh*t

never ever pay someone else bill using own account or card...transfer money or give cash directly. Gotta file under dispute not fraud and work with your folk with getting supporting documents. Most places send conformation email and/or text saying it was a 1 time pym...that alone with phone bill showing payment and bill in her name should be sufficient. You can file online with boa.
