Most mid engined vehicles have similar shapes and proportions. The cars themselves are nothing alike though. Especially the engines. You gotta understand that Chevy has been toying around with the idea of a mid engined Corvette since the first model in 1953. Ford tried to buy Ferrari back in the 60s and Ferrari turned the offer down. Ford came back and whipped Ferrari's a*s four times in a row at LeMans in their own mid engined sports car between 1966 and 1969. Winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 1966.

Then 50 years later in 2016 they whipped everybody's a*s again in the new Ford GT race car, getting 1st, 3rd, and 4th place.

So yes, Ferrari is known for making a lot of mid engined cars but they also make front mid engined cars, so by your logic they copied Corvette too.
