I got lemonade and lemon-tint, lemons watch me mix the shit
Lemonade-complexion East-Australian girl be killing me
She say I be killing her, I say I be feeling it
Four days then I'm sick of her cause her brain is lemonhead
Cocaine-white exterior, interior lemonade
Yellow with the off-white trimming, I call that the super drank
Yellow diamond pinky ring, call that there the lemon rock
Jewelry box a lemon bin, my ear ring size of apricot
Yeah I smoke that strong a lot, yeah I need some of what you got
Half a pound of lemon kush, call that pack the lemon drop
Canary yellow lemon watch, big bird, yellow top
Yellow Polo, Polo slippers, white and yellow Polo socks
Gucci Mane be pumping dog, he don't got all he say he got
Just stash one Lemon homie, I can supply them the fifty Glocks
Yellow boat parked at the dock, yellowbone gon' make the drop
Flip the flop, mine off the top then go buy me a yellow yacht

Corvette Z06 Reportedly Coming In Late 2021 With 800 HP

10 people viewing this

rides | By JayR04

The 2020 Corvette C8 stunned fans earlier this year with a beautiful design, a high quality interior and a mid-engine layout. If that wasn’t enough, the model costs under $60,000 and features a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces up to 495 hp (369 kW / 502 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque.

Of course, there are more powerful variants on the horizon and one first to arrive will be the next-generation Z06. Automobile Magazine says the sports car will likely arrive in late 2021 as a 2022 model.

While it’s still a ways off, the car could be worth the wait. The publication says the model will likely have a twin-turbo V8 that is loosely based on Cadillac’s 4.2-liter Blackwing V8. In the CT6-V, it develops 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) and 640 lb-ft (867 Nm) of torque.

The engine will be significantly revised for use in the Corvette and it could be called the LT7. That remains unconfirmed and so does the rumored output of 800 hp (597 kW / 811 PS) and 700+ lb-ft (948+ Nm) of torque.

While those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, they’d be a huge improvement over the outgoing Corvette Z06. That model has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 developing 650 hp (485 kW / 659 PS) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque.

Little else is known about the car, but the engine could be paired to either the base model’s seven-speed dual-clutch automatic or an all-new 10-speed dual-clutch gearbox. There’s even rumors of a manual transmission, but we wouldn’t get our hopes up.

Besides the upgraded engine, there will be a host of other performance tweaks. These could include carbon fiber body panels, an aggressive aerodynamics package and wider fenders to accommodate fatter wheels. We can also expect a sportier suspension and a handful of weight saving measures.

There’s no word on pricing, but the 2019 Corvette Z06 starts at $80,900 and it’s likely the redesigned model will cost several thousand dollars more.

Aug 23 - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg treated for pancreatic cancer

news | By Bucks414

Time for trump to get a new supreme justice pick

NEW YORK Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been treated for pancreatic cancer in New York City, the Supreme Court announced Friday.

The tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body, the court said.

This is the 86-year-old liberal icons fourth bout with cancer. In 1999, she successfully underwent surgery to treat colon cancer. She was treated for early stages of pancreatic cancer in 2009. Last December, Ginsburg underwent surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from her left lung.

Ginsburg also underwent a heart procedure in 2014 to have a stent placed in her right coronary artery.

Here is the full statement from the Supreme Court:

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg today completed a three-week course of stereotactic ablative radiation therapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The focused radiation treatment began on August 5 and was administered on an outpatient basis to treat a tumor on her pancreas. The abnormality was first detected after a routine blood test in early July, and a biopsy performed on July 31 at Sloan Kettering confirmed a localized malignant tumor. As part of her treatment, a bile duct stent was placed. The Justice tolerated treatment well. She cancelled her annual summer visit to Santa Fe, but has otherwise maintained an active schedule. The tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. Justice Ginsburg will continue to have periodic blood tests and scans. No further treatment is needed at this time.

SPOTIFY sued over 'BILLIONS of EMINEM STREAMS'

7 people viewing this

hiphop | By NinetyThree94

Quote:

It claims the music-streaming service failed to correctly license the rapper's work.

Eminem has never been properly paid for songs "streamed on Spotify billions of times", court papers say.

And Spotify, which has yet to respond publicly, put the song Lose Yourself into a category for copyrighted songs by unknown authors, which Eight Mile Style calls "absurd".

Lose Yourself, recorded and produced by Eminem and his long-time collaborators Jeff Bass and Luis Resto, was the first hip-hop song to win an Academy Award.

Eight Mile Style is suing for approximately 30m, the maximum damages for each of what it says are 243 copyright-infringed songs.

"Spotify acted deceptively by pretending to have compulsory and/or other licences," court papers claim.

The publisher further accuses Spotify of not complying with the 2018 Music Modernisation Act, a US regulation designed to pay songwriters when their music is streamed.

Under the regulations, the online streaming service must make "reasonable efforts" to identify and locate each copyright owner of work that might be categorised as unknown.

The court papers accuse the streaming service of lacking the infrastructure needed to make sure songs are licensed and musicians are paid.

OBI-WAN Disney+ Series Starring Ewan McGregor Officially Announced, New Details

4 people viewing this

movies | By SM

Quote:

It’s official: Ewan McGregor is going to bring balance to Disney+.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series was confirmed Friday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim — along with some new details.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy told Expo audiences that all the scripts are written for the series and it will begin filming next year.

The project represents the latest live-action Star Wars series confirmed for the streaming service. First up is Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian coming Nov. 12 starring Pedro Pascal as a lone gunfighter in a remote corner of the galaxy. There’s also a series starring Diego Luna reprising his Rogue One role as Cassian Andor in the works (Alan Tudyk’s scene-stealing droid K-2SO is also on board).

The iconic Jedi Knight role of Obi-Wan Kenobi was established by Alec Guinness in 1977’s Star Wars, then picked up by McGregor in 1999’s The Phantom Menace. McGregor played the wise wizard across two more films (2002’s Attack of the Clones and 2005’s Revenge of the Sith), plus had a voice cameo in 2015’s The Force Awakens.

McGregor has said for years he’d be open to returning the Star Wars role. Next up for the actor is The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep from director Mike Flanagan based on the bestseller by Stephen King with McGregor tackling the role of grown-up Danny Torrence. The film opens Nov. 8.
